California Jaycee Foundation Scholarship
The California Jaycees Foundation
scholastic funding to eligible High School Seniors who will continue
their education at any accredited college or vocational school in the
United States. In 2024, Scholarship awards will be given in
increments of $1,000.

Three recipients of the California Jaycee Foundation s
will be forwarded to the United States JCI Senate Foundation
Scholarship Program Review Committee for participation in that program
as well, two (2) for scholastic scholarships and one (1) for
vocational/industrial, for a possible additional $1,500 scholarship.

The 2023 HAZEL JACKSON / CALIFORNIA LICENSED FORESTERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP and the ROY H. RICHARDS, JR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The California Licensed Foresters Association (CLFA) is accepting applications for the two aforementioned scholarships to be awarded to college students pursuing an education in Forestry. The Hazel Jackson/CLFA Scholarship recipient will receive $3,000.00 with the second place recipient receiving the Roy Richards Scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00. McConnell Foundation - The McConnell Scholars: The McConnell Foundation Scholars Program helps students seeking bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges and universities. It provides recipients with a total financial award of $30,000 plus non-financial support such as mentoring and personal development opportunities. Must have an EFC of $5,846 or less. Tri Counties Bank offers (2) types of community scholarships:
Income-based – Sixty (60) $1,500 scholarships are awarded to students with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $6,206 or less and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Merit-based – Twenty (20) $1,000 scholarships are offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Native Daughter of the Golden West (NDGW) Education and Scholarships Committee
Scholarships are available to those who are California-born Members of the NDGW, or eligible to affiliate with the NDGW, or have a familial relationship to a Member except as noted below. Applicants must be seniors or graduates of an accredited high school, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50, or its equivalent or have obtained a G.E.D. (Graduate Equivalency Degree or General Educational Diploma), or Certificate of Completion.
The following scholarships are available:
Scholarships up to a maximum of 1,350 each awarded to students enrolled at any University of California (UC) or any California State University (CSU) campus.
Annie L. Adair Scholarships up to a maximum of $1,300 each awarded to students majoring in business or social welfare at an accredited California university or college.
Sue J. Irwin Scholarships up to a maximum of $1,000 each awarded to students of an accredited California university, college, vocational program, trade school, or online course.. TU-STC will be offering one scholarship annually, for $1,000, to a student applying for full-time enrollment at a four year college or university and currently residing in one of the seven Northern California counties that compose our Chapter’s region (Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Siskiyou, Tehama, Modoc, and Lassen). Each $1,000 scholarship is renewable for up to four years, for a total potential value of $4,000 over the course of a student’s four year college journey.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Student graduating high school, returning to pursue a degree, or current community college student
• Student must reside in the Shasta-Trinity-Cascade Region (California Counties of Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Siskiyou, Tehama, Modoc, and Lassen)
• Student seeking degree in fisheries, wildlife or natural resources or similar at a 4 year college or university
• Be available for a zoom interview with TU Scholarship Committee members (date tbd)
